College Bowl Night

Abstract:

 

Our annual College Bowl brings together student teams from area schools’ Chemistry/Chemical Engineering Departments for friendly competition while meeting attendees cheer them on. Three students are allowed in any team at any time and different student can take part in different rounds.  Questions are selected at random from a list of Engineering, Chemistry and Physics questions presented in a ‘game show’ format. There will be several rounds of questions. Answers are judged by a panel of engineer-judges not affiliated with any of the participating schools. In the case of a tie, the moderator’s score will be selected to break the tie.

Bernard Ennis, P.E. – President, EGT Enterprises, Inc. of Cedar Grove, New Jersey.

Bernie has consulted on insurance, legal, technical and management matters in oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, chlor-alkali, and power generation. Steven Wilmes – Manager, Process Engineering Group, Thielsch Engineering, Inc. of Cranston, Rhode Island.

Steve has leadership experience providing technical and global project management advisory services to industry, governments and investment houses.
